Jamon Jamon

Spain in general has the ability to bring twisted to celluloid. (I mean look at any Amoldovar film for god’s sake). This film is a torrid tale of jamon, sex, murder and underwear. The young Penelope Cruz makes her film debut here and she really takes it to the edge.

The story is about a business executives son making the socially wrong decision to marry a low class cook. His mother attempts to thwart his amorous intent. Along the way there is loads of infidelity, lots of underwear and piles of delicious Spanish Jamon.
