Sushi: The Global Catch

A decent documentary about sushi and the ever growing cult that is following this food. There is some good footage in this piece and they talk to a few excellent sushi chefs in Tokyo. There is a bit of righteousness in this piece, though. The way the servers talk about seasonality and sustainability in seafood is UN-impressive…. but it’s San Francisco where the real world seems to fall away.
