La Cucina

The story of 3 couples living in a LA apartment complex; all dealing with relationships that are less than stellar. The dialog is trying so hard to be snappy and insightful, but it really left me with a boring taste in my mouth (like margarine and wonder bread).

The only thing that I really liked was the nod to food and the kitchen as instigators of conversation. The kitchen and dining room were/are where it all happens in my house. Food was and always be the lubricant for ideas, celebration and comfort.

BTW-these apartment kitchens seem a wee bit too large for a West Hollywood complex-just sayin’
