The Grand Chef

Another gem of a food series coming out of Korea. There are some excellent cooking sequences in this series and some great story lines of honor, paranoia, self discovery, love and the like. I particularly like the old man; who acts as kind of a sage and agitator with the whole cooking process. He knows the old way of doing things and his mischievous doings create the necessary unbalance for new discovery. He is kind of like the old vagabonds in the movie “Tampopo”. These are really fun to watch and worth seeking out.
